The OLX900 features the new MiniPal QC analyser, which is an energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer from PANalytical. With the MiniPal QC, sample analysis takes place in air – eliminating the need for helium gas purge – making the OLX900 easier to maintain than its predecessor, the OLX800.
And it’s versatile. The OLX900 can be integrated in an FLSmidth Automation QCX/OnStream® package solution including mix control, or operate as a stand-alone analyser unit. Since first coming to market in 1993, the QCX/OnStream has been modified to keep up with industry requirements. It now offers high-frequency sampling and X-ray analysis for tight, on-line chemical quality control of cement raw mix or other powder process streams. With the new OLX900, the QCX/OnStream performs even better due to a 50 percent increase in the sampling and analysis frequency and superior analyser performance.
Quicker sampling, better control
The OLX900 can prepare and analyse samples every four minutes – and when
combined with the powerful QCX/BlendExpert mix control software,
process control is tight. And one analyser can service two adjacent raw
mills, or one raw mill and one kiln feed product stream.
